2010 Scholarship Winners Announced

Ten students from Pioneer, Huron, Community, Father Gabriel Richard, and Greenhills high schools will receive Rotary Club of Ann Arbor scholarships this year. Meet these special scholars!

 

Megan Polgar, Gabriel Richard, will attend Eastern Michigan University in the field of elementary education

Brandon Cooper, Gabriel Richard, will go to Davenport University in computer science

James Chamness, Greenhills, will be at Cornell this fall in engineering and political science

 

Nkemjika Nwaneri, Huron, will attend the University of Michigan to study neuroscience and hopes to become a doctor

Valeria Islas-Montantes, Huron, will attend Eastern Michigan University, with the goal of being a nurse and eventually a nurse practitioner

Dominique Corley, Pioneer, will go to Cornell to study sociology and work in the field of social justice

Tobias Kpanenou, Pioneer, will study pharmacy at Ferris University
Catherine Nease, Community, plans to attend Cornell University to study food science
Amy Robbins, Greenhills, is going to Occidental College in biochemistry

Elizabeth Demonte (Huron, also the recipient of our Club’s Anna Marie List Memorial Scholarship) will attend Michigan studying chemical engineering
