The purpose is to facilitate host counselor/scholar support. This is done by welcoming scholars by email before arrival, meeting incoming scholars at the airport, introducing scholars to Rotary and Michigan, attending host and scholar orientation, and transport scholars to speak at Rotary Clubs. Invite scholars to family and community events. Give scholars their first scholarship and follow up with them in Ann Arbor and beyond.
