Rotary Club awards

Distinguished Service Award: The Distinguished Service Award committee, led by the past president with several other distinguished officers, selects awardees, both members and others, based on service to the club.

Paul Harris Fellow: The Paul Harris Fellowship recognizes members who have given at least $1,000 to Rotary International's Annual Programs Fund, PolioPlus, or the Humanitarian Grants Program, or people who have that amount contributed in their name. Each new Paul Harris Fellow receives a commemorative certificate and a pin.

Ambassador of Goodwill Award; The Goodwill Award, established in 2005, is presented to those Rotarians who travel to another country at their own expense to further the goals and objectives of Rotary. District Rotarians traveling to other countries to support Rotary projects, receive Rotary training, attend Rotary conferences, or participate in Friendship Exchange visits or other Rotary activities are eligible for this award.

Emeritus Membership: Emeritus membership status is available to our most senior club members, those who are at least eighty years of age and have twenty years of Rotary service. This status is reserved for members in ‘good standing’ who intend to resign from the Club for age, health, personal or financial reasons. We celebrate their long held connection with, and support of, Rotary and we exact no requirements for either attendance or dues.
