Luncheon Meeting - Amy Goodman - Rotary & Lifelong Literacy, Washtenaw Literacy Coalition
How does literacy figure in to the economic recovery? How does it contribute to improved health outcomes? What is family literacy? The new definition of literacy reaches across generations to build stronger communities. The Literacy Coalition of Washtenaw County was created by the Washtenaw County Board of Commissioners in 2007. Meet some of the member agencies providing literacy services from birth to seniors and learn how this initiative sharpens Rotary’s worldwide and local focus on literacy.
